An important aspect of this position is ensuring the intake, processing, packing, transport and storage of a variety of crops including peas, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, onions and Brussels sprouts are executed safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Verify the quality of incoming raw materials
* Operate machinery and equipment to achieve production objectives
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all work areas
* Document daily activities through accurate log entries and system updates
* Utilise forklifts for material transportation (candidates with relevant licenses and experience)
* Implement Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and food safety protocols
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Work collaboratively within an active production setting
