**As Program Coordinator, you are required to**:
- Lead the implementation of sport and recreation activities and programs, including appropriate allocation of resources.
- Supervise Program Leaders in their delivery of quality programs to the venue's clients.
- Ensure programs and activities at the venue comply with workplace health and safety requirements, and industry regulations and standards.
- Provide a leadership role in ensuring appropriate standards of client service and relationship management within the venue and with the local community.
- Liaise, consult, negotiate and develop partnerships with appropriate industry stakeholders in relation to the delivery of sport and outdoor recreation programs at the Venue.
- Negotiate, procure and manage contracts with suppliers.
- Facilitate quality experiences for individuals and groups in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Ensure that accompanying teachers / group leaders have a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities while conducting activities at the Venue.
- Establish and maintain effective administrative systems and procedures in compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the development of plans, strategies and team goals.

To be appointed to a permanent position, you must be an Australian citizen, have permanent residency status or a visa permitting you to work permanently in Australia. For temporary appointments, you must have a visa permitting you to work for the length of the temporary appointment.

- Current recognised outdoor recreation discipline and Workplace Training and Assessment accreditations.
