About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Regional Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving livestock sales, and identifying new business opportunities within your territory.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain professional relationships with clients and grow a strong portfolio of new and existing clients
* Identify and cultivate new livestock sales opportunities
* Develop and grow relationships with key industry partners, including exporters and processors
* Provide expert onsite livestock advice to clients, recommending appropriate products and services to strengthen their business
* Employ tactful negotiating skills to bring buyers and sellers together
* Maximise promotional opportunities, including assisting at industry and community events
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* A Livestock Auctioneer Licence and Assessor Accreditation (or willingness to obtain one)
* Previous experience in a sales role, preferably within the agriculture sector, and an understanding of seasonal requirements
* Strong understanding of livestock breeds, vet products and low stress stock handling, with a passion for driving client relationships and sales
* Commitment to positively effecting real change for both your clients and your community
* Ability to provide a high level of customer service and cultivate relationships with potential and current clients
