The opportunity:
We're seeking EOIs from Specialists in Procurement or Contract Management for Defence capability investment programs. You'll facilitate procurements through the full lifecycle - from initial approvals through to contract execution and ongoing management - ensuring compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Defence policies. This includes drafting procurement documentation, coordinating with Defence Commercial and Legal stakeholders, providing expert advice to project teams, managing contract changes and disputes, and establishing efficient procurement processes that deliver value for money.
What we're looking for:
* Experience managing government procurements through full lifecycle
* Knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules, Defence procurement policies, and contract law
* Ability to draft and review commercial documentation including statements of work, evaluation plans, and contract variations
* Skills in vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and dispute resolution
* Strong written and verbal communication for engaging with Defence Commercial, Legal, and Finance stakeholders
* Ability to work across multiple concurrent procurement activities at various stages
