About the Role: As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering a spectrum of services including preventative care, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches.
Your expertise will be integral in improving communication and swallowing abilities, enhancing the quality of life for individuals across our region.
You will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals and service providers, contributing to a collaborative and holistic approach to patient care.
This role involves providing regional services to multiple communities on a regular and rostered basis, ensuring that our health services are accessible and responsive to local needs.
This role is offered as AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by knowledge and experience.
At the AHP1 level you will receive clinical advice, mentorship, and support from AHP3 and AHP2 Speech Pathologists and access regular clinical support and formal supervision in line with the Allied Health Clinical Governance Framework.
At the AHP2 level you will be clinically accountable to and receive support from the Clinical Senior (AHP3) Speech Pathologist as outlined in the Allied Health Clinical Support Framework.
Qualifications: Hold a recognised qualification within Speech Pathology Be eligible for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
It is desirable to participate in Speech Pathology Australia's accredited Continuing Professional Development program as a requirement of a self-regulated profession.

Applicant Information: The incumbent is able to reside in any of the following communities: Port Lincoln, Elliston, Streaky Bay, Ceduna, Wudinna, Cleve, Cowell, Kimba, Tumby Bay or Cummins.
You will be required to provide a regional service to more than one community within the Eyre & Far North LHN including Ceduna, Streaky Bay and Port Lincoln on a regular and rostered schedule.
