Maintenance Fitter – Day Shift | Warwick Farm 06:00am – 2:00pm Regular Sunday Shifts | High-Earning Potential We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join a fast-paced packaging and manufacturing site based in Warwick Farm. You’ll play a key role in delivering mechanical maintenance, breakdown response, and plant reliability support across a large-scale, automated facility. Working alongside a dedicated maintenance team, you’ll contribute to keeping operations running safely and efficiently at peak performance. What’s on offer: Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm 2–3 Sundays per month (paid at double time) Occasional Saturday shift cover available Strong earning potential with overtime Work in a state-of-the-art automated facility Ongoing development and career progression opportunities Supportive team environment reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities: Perform mechanical maintenance, repairs, and breakdown response on plant and production equipment Conduct preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve reliability Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning Collaborate with electrical trades and production teams to troubleshoot faults Maintain accurate maintenance records, job cards, and CMMS updates Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis About You: Trade-qualified Fitter / Mechanical Technician Experience in manufacturing, packaging, food production, or similar automated environments Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Hands-on capability, including welding and operating a lathe machine Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team Proactive approach to maintenance, safety, and problem-solving Familiarity with CMMS systems (preferred) Strong communication skills This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to secure a stable position with strong earning potential and long-term growth.
