We are looking for a dynamic person to join the Operations team of our NDIS registered business.
The focus is to manage the roster for our workforce, assist with Onboarding and basic Human Resource and NDIS compliances. Training will be provided but an understanding of NDIS would be greatly beneficial.
Our service provides supports for participants and staff 24 hours per day over 7 days per week. This position is Monday to Friday 0800-1500 hours. Public Holidays are paid days off. As you are part of the Operations team, you will be required to undertake On Call duties within our roster.
We are a SCHADS employer and therefore follow the SCHADS award under the Social and Community Services Sector. Experience of knowledge of the SCHADS award would be greatly beneficial.
Job Type is Permanent full time and will include all leave and allowances under the SCHADS award. This position is advertised as full time; however we are flexible to look at Permanent Part Time if appropriate.
Pay rate for this position is between $39.19 ph ($77 439 pa) and $41.99 ph ($82 972.24 pa) depending on experience and qualifications. This is exclusive of superannuation, long service leave, and allowances
Provide support across the entire employee lifecycle and ensure HR processes and activities engage and retain exceptional staff.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing the rostering system – our flow logic rostering system aligns participants with suitable staff who have the desired skills and knowledge. This means that there are closed teams for participants – it does not mean you can allocate anyone to a shift.
· Support the executive management team
· Compile relevant employment documentation including contracts, induction, and onboarding materials for Head Office appointments;
· Report preparation;
· Assist in the development and implementation of HR projects, staff culture initiatives and HR systems across multiple venues;
· Review documentation, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation;
· Ad hoc HR duties and projects as required.
Possess relevant skills and qualifications
The successful applicant will have experience in a similar generalist role. You will possess;
· Experience within the administration role and knowledge of the NDIS frame works.
· Knowledge of relevant legislation and ability to interpret Awards;
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
· You will enjoy working collaboratively to achieve an outcome;
· Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues;
· Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
· Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
· Manage rostering or relevant experience
