Position Overview
We are expanding our team and seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join us as part of our sales team, to play a key role in liaising with customers, coordinating sales activities, and providing excellent technical and spare parts support.
Working hours
Part Time, 3 Days per week or reduced hours per day (24 hours per week) or by negotiation.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare quotations for customers, leveraging our database of technical information.
* Serve as a knowledgeable resource for customers, addressing technical inquiries and guiding them to suitable resellers and distributors.
* Facilitate order processing, collaborating closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery.
* Interpret spare parts requests using part manuals and computer applications.
Sought attributes
* A technical/ design background.
* The ability to work with Marine industry participants and key accounts to nurture and build relationships.
* Experience in the execution of sales strategies and spare parts interpretation.
* Work in an autonomous and pro-active fashion - seeking sales opportunities and quotation follow-up.
* Have a positive 'can-do' attitude - willing to be trained in a variety of products and services. .
Highly Regarded
* Experience working with databases and technical documentation.
* Proficiency in using our current IT tools and software, including SAP B1 (our ERP), Microsoft Excel, and HubSpot CRM.
