Youth Mental Health Outreach Clinician
This role is a part-time mental health practitioner position that involves providing culturally safe support to youths aged 12–25 in Katherine, Australia.
* A strong clinical assessment and community engagement background is required for this position.
* Prior experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering mental health services in remote or rural settings and be familiar with the cultural nuances of working with diverse youth populations.
In addition to their clinical skills, the successful applicant will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing them to build strong relationships with clients, families, and community partners.
Key qualifications for this role include:
* Registered mental health professional status (e.g. psychologist, social worker, occupational therapist)
* Current practicing certificate
* Relevant experience in community-based mental health settings
