Salary Type: $60 - $80 per hour + super
Experienced Hospital Social Worker required for a hospital based in North Queensland. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of allied health staff.
Job Details
* Previous hospital experience is mandatory – experienced HP3 or HP4 role
* Locum rates from $60 – $80 per hour + super dependent on experience
* Hours would be 0800-1630 Monday to Friday with 1 hour unpaid break (7.5 hours per day)
* Accommodation can be provided for the candidate for the length of contract
* Up to $1000 (incl. GST) will be reimbursed for one way travel to the locum
* Working in a rural generalist role primarily in the inpatient setting
* Working as part of a team of 3 inpatient social workers, the caseload includes inpatient adult & paediatric wards and ED, outpatient adults.
* If you trained overseas, you must have been assessed by the AASW BEFORE you contact me
* Hospital experience is essential, candidates without recent hospital experience will not be considered
* This is NOT a mental health role
