Jewellery Buyer & Sales Assistant
$70,000 – $85,000 per year plus bonuses
Location: Southport | Full-time 38 hrs per week | Monday to Saturday Availability

We're currently looking for a reliable, motivated, and customer-focused Full Time Jewellery Buyer & Sales Assistant to join our team.
Your Role
This is a varied and exciting role where no two days are the same. Key responsibilities include:
* Buying and providing loans on gold jewellery
* Prior knowledge of gold valuation and jewellery assessment is preferred but not essential
* Selling jewellery using excellent interpersonal and selling skills
* Photographing jewellery for promotional and sales purposes
* Managing and updating our website and social media platforms
* Assisting with marketing activities including Google Ads and customer database management
* Collaborating with the team to achieve daily and long-term business goals
About You
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, trustworthy, and eager to grow with our business. The ideal candidate will have:
* A minimum of 2 years of face-to-face sales experience
* Face-to-face sales experience specifically in jewellery or precious metals is required
* A friendly, approachable personality and a positive attitude
* Australian work rights or valid visa to work in Australia
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base
* A desire for long-term involvement in a growing business
* An honest, dependable, and professional approach to work
* The flexibility and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Desirable (but not essential):
* Experience in jewellery buying or retail sales
* Skills in photography, marketing, website management, and/or social media
