We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Psychologist to join our Nationally Registered NDIS Paediatric Practice. Note: Supervision can be provided for a Provisional Psychologist for the right applicant! Supervision is available for provisional psychologists on a 4 + 2 pathway / 5 +1 pathway. We partner with the highly regarded local psychology practice – Child Matters / Teen Matters where their Owner / Clinical Psychologist provides direct supervision (off-site) – both group and individual, to help you meet AHPRA requirements.

About the role
* Work autonomously and closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide psychological input for children and their families and support networks.
* Develop and implement individualized client-centred, family-focused intervention plans.
* Work collaboratively with children and/or parents/caregivers to achieve functional outcomes.
* Monitor client's progress throughout intervention, reviewing outcomes and modifying intervention program as required.
* Complete school and home visits based on the needs of individual clients; attend case conferences and school meetings as required.
* Facilitate group programmes with other interdisciplinary team members.
* Opportunity to provide professional development training for parents, teachers and other health professionals.
Experience and Qualifications
* Bachelor of Psychology or higher degree and current registration with Allied Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA).
* Current Western Australian Drivers Licence.
* Current Working with Children Card.
* Knowledge of and experience in using psychometric assessments relative to paediatric practice.
* Extensive knowledge of human development throughout the life span, specifically 0-16 years.
* Ability to develop and implement psychological intervention programmes relating to the areas of self‐care, play, school, emotional expression and regulation, development of self‐awareness and confidence, interpersonal relationships and social interactions.
* Strong interpersonal, time‐management, organisational and communication skills.
* Well‐defined research and analytical skills.
* Strong problem‐solving skills.
* Willingness, ability and desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Dynamic and enthusiastic with a passion for working with kids and their families.
