A respected and well‑established legal practice is seeking an experienced and organised Office Manager with strong accounts and bookkeeping skills. This is a pivotal position within a close‑knit team, offering stability and variety in a professional environment.
Your New Role
As the Office Manager, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace. You will oversee administrative processes, reception, technology platforms, service providers, and the overall presentation of the practice.
A key focus of the role includes leading the implementation of new AML/CTF requirements, supporting compliance processes, and driving continuous improvement in systems and workflows.
You will also play a crucial part in the firm's financial administration, including trust accounting tasks, Xero data entry, BAS support, PEXA finalisation and liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies.
What You'll Need to Succeed
Experience in office management, legal administration or accounts
Understanding of trust accounting or legal compliance (advantageous)
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder skills
Strong organisational ability with a proactive, professional approach
Confidence working across MS Office and practice management systems (LEAP desirable)
High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities
Current Queensland driver's licence
