MOTORCYCLE TECHNICIAN
We're looking for an experienced motorcycle technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role working across multiple brands and models, with opportunities to develop your skills and work with modern diagnostic equipment.
The Role
You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on motorcycles, ATVs, and side-by-side vehicles. The work is varied and includes everything from routine servicing to complex electrical troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems using wiring diagrams, schematics, and diagnostic tools
* Perform scheduled maintenance, battery and alternator testing, and electrical circuit inspections
* Build, prepare, service, and repair new and used vehicles
* Conduct test rides to ensure repairs meet quality standards
* Maintain a safe and organised workspace
* Update internal systems and customer records
* Stay current with new technology through training opportunities
* Work collaboratively with the team to deliver efficient service
What You'll Need
Essential
* Relevant motorcycle, automotive, or diesel mechanic qualification
* Practical experience in mechanical and electrical diagnostics
* Valid motorcycle and driver's licence
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Good communication skills for dealing with customers and team members
* Computer literacy for diagnostic equipment and data systems
Advantageous
* Auto electrical qualification
* Experience across multiple motorcycle brands
Personal Qualities
* Solid work ethic and positive attitude
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Willingness to undertake additional training as needed
