About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and reliable
Insulation Technician
to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll assist with the preparation and installation of various insulation systems, working closely with an experienced supervisor.
You'll be part of a small, supportive crew that delivers consistent, high-quality installations across both new builds and retrofit projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of thermal and acoustic insulation materials in ceilings, walls and partition walls.
Sarking installation (wraps) to external walls.
Load, unload, and prepare materials and equipment for daily work.
Measure, cut, and fit insulation products according to job specifications.
Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, or within confined spaces when required.
Follow site safety procedures and company WHS standards at all times.
Maintain a clean and organised worksite.
Support team members to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Previous experience in construction, labouring, or a similar hands-on trade.
Physically fit and comfortable working in roof spaces.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Valid driver's licence and reliable transport.
Current Construction White Card.
Desirable:
Experience in insulation installation, plastering, or other building services.
Working at Heights and/or Confined Space ticket.
Familiar with hand and power tools.
