About The Role
As part of BOQ Group's transformation journey, we are seeking a Senior Manager Line 1 Risk, Product, Transformation and BOQ Specialist to support our Business Bank. The Senior Manager is responsible for supporting the Head of Line 1 Risk, Business Bank, and Head of Line 1 Risk, Product in coordinating and facilitating risk management activities within the first line of defence. The role is key in driving a proactive risk culture, enhancing risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
The Senior Manager ensures effective integration of risk management frameworks into business operations, strengthening controls, improving risk posture, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role promotes innovative risk management solutions aligned with BOQ's strategic goals and supports organizational resilience through risk activities.
About You
Ideal candidates will have leadership experience in financial services, particularly in business banking or product. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology, Business, Risk Management, or related fields, along with certifications like FRM, PRM, or CPA, are preferred. For tech roles, certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, CISA, CRISC, ISO200, PCI / DSS, CGEIT, or CISSP are desirable. You should have a proven track record in developing risk frameworks, strong problem-solving, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
