What You'll Be Doing
Mechanical Repairs & Servicing
* Service and repair caravans, trailers, and towing systems
* Diagnose faults in braking, suspension, chassis & mechanical components
* Perform safety inspections to ensure roadworthy compliance
* Repair and replace bearings, hubs, axles, braking systems and more
Upgrades & Custom Work
* Install mechanical components and system upgrades
* Assist with custom caravan modifications and builds
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
* Identify faults using tools and hands‐on inspection
* Recommend preventive maintenance solutions
* Maintain clear and accurate job records
Workshop & Team
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised workspace
* Follow WHS standards
* Support parts and inventory management
* Work collaboratively to meet workshop targets
Customer Support
* Provide clear, practical advice
* Explain repairs and maintenance recommendations
* Deliver high‐quality workmanship every time
What You BringEssential (Non‐Negotiable)
* Trade Qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
* Solid mechanical experience (automotive, trailer, caravan or heavy vehicle)
* Strong knowledge of braking systems, suspension & towing setups
* Proven diagnostic and problem‐solving skills
* Competency with workshop tools and equipment
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
* Team player with the ability to work independently
* Understanding of workplace health & safety
* Current driver's licence
Highly Regarded
* Caravan or trailer experience
* Auto‐electrical knowledge
* Fabrication or custom modification experience
