Position Descriptor:
Yankalilla Community Children's Centre is located in Yankalilla, which is situated on the Fleurieu Peninsula, near Normanville. We are an integrated site with a community run childcare centre and Department for Education Preschool. Yankalilla Community Children's Centre is seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant team. Our centre is committed to providing high-quality early childhood education and care, guided by the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Your Role:
Develop and implement engaging and inclusive learning programs that reflect the EYLF principles, focusing on Belonging, Being, and Becoming.
Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that promotes children's holistic development and well-being.
Collaborate with families and the community to enhance children's learning experiences and outcomes.
Ensure compliance with the NQS, maintaining a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment for all children.
Engage in continuous professional development to stay informed about best practices in early childhood education.
A deep understanding of the EYLF and NQS, with the ability to translate these frameworks into practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Demonstrate ability to create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that respects diversity and promotes equity.
Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional growth.
