Ideally, a qualified Operations Manager will have experience in the different facets critical in small business: sales, marketing, administration, operations and human resources.Salary: $85,000-$90,000 + Super + BonusesKey responsibilities of this position will include (but not be limited to):Supervising a team of Truck Team Members and motivating them to achieve their goals that you have set with the assistance of the GM.Ensuring high-quality execution for all jobs; monitoring post-job satisfaction of customers and proactively addressing any issues that arise.Maintaining all information related to sales, estimates, job/truck and other operational details are entered in supporting information systems, ensuring all details are accurate and up-to-date.Performing office responsibilities including the purchasing of supplies and maintaining an organised workspace.Completion of administrative tasks as required, including payroll and payroll expense, invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable.Completion of staffing tasks including recruiting, hiring, training and staff scheduling.Completion of marketing tasks including the development and implementation of the local truck-based marketing plan as well as overseeing the plan's execution.Build & maintain relationships with customers, realtors, property managers and other service companies within companies' target markets to increase sales and measure the return/effectiveness of these activities.Perform daily truck inspections.
Ensure trucks are fully outfitted with everything required to provide servicesAchievement of all operational related goals.As well as performing all the below duties, ensuring that all Truck Team Members under their supervision also perform all of the below duties:Perform the safe removal, transportation, and unloading of junk, in accordance with our standard operating procedures and safety guidelinesProvide an exceptional customer experience for all our customers and maintain a respectful, professional, and calm demeanour at all timesTransport and dispose of junk at authorized deposit facilitiesEnsure uniform is maintained and worn in accordance with our guidelinesPerform daily truck inspections, including documenting and correcting deficiencies, and light maintenance and cleaning, when applicableSafe operation and maintenance of all equipmentTimely call aheads to all customers to ensure on time arrival for all scheduled leadsFollow health and safety guidelines and safe driving practices as outlined by our standards and in accordance with applicable legal requirementsComplete assigned routes and assist coworker(s) when requiredProvide all customers with an accurate estimateSupervise and assist in the daily fulfillment of scheduled jobs to ensure on-time service.Complete all administrative processing including on-time cash outs and route journals.Ensure all team members are always in appropriate uniform.Other duties as assigned.Performance Factors:Achieve Performance MetricsMaintain Safety & SecurityDrive Employee DevelopmentDrive Exceptional Customer ServiceBe an Employer of Choice.To qualify, candidates must possess:A great attitude and strong multi-tasking, time management skills.3+ year of operations management experience overseeing similar duties as outlined above.Excellent verbal & written communication skills.Strong desire to help others excel and hit goals.Valid LR driver's license or above.*****-GOT-JUNK?
