Join our dynamic Aviation Department as a Storeperson! As a key member of the Engineering team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining our supply distribution system. You’ll be responsible for ensuring seamless operations and efficient inventory management.
This role is crucial in supporting RFDS to keep flying and provide the finest care to the furthest corners of WA.
About You
* At least 2 years' experience in a fast-paced Storeperson position
* Strong computer literacy skills and fluent with Microsoft Suites
* Effective communication skills, including written and verbal
* A high level of time management, with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
* C Class Drivers Licence
* Forklift Drivers Licence (desirable)
* Previous experience with Aviation or Mining Stores would be highly regarded
About The Role
* Receipting and dispatching of aircraft spares and components
* Raising purchase orders for aircraft spare parts and consumables
* Raising internal work packs
* Assisting with stock takes and cycle counts
* Entering data into the computer system
* Liaising with RFDS bases on stock level requirements
* Processing parts requisitions for Engineers
* Liaising with suppliers
* Performing general housekeeping duties
