We are currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to manage payment invoices and contribute to the smooth running of financial operations within a dynamic and collaborative team.
About the role:
As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will:
* Check and process invoices with precision and efficiency.
* Accurately code invoices to the correct cost centers.
* Match invoices with approved purchase orders and ensure compliance with financial delegations.
* Coordinate payment approvals and respond to invoice and payment queries.
* Support month-end processes and assist with accounts payable ad-hoc reporting.
What you'll Bring:
* Proven experience in an accounts payable role.
* Understanding of accounting and accounts payable principles.
* Accurate data entry skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Experience in the use of the Microsoft Office 365 products suite.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Must be able to access information controlled under the US International Traffic of Arms Regulations (ITAR).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an Australian security clearance.
