Due to rapid growth we are looking for casuals to join our warehouse team in Rosebery.
About the role
* This is a casual position, with an availability requirement of 3 week days per week at minimum (Monday and Saturday availability required).
* We have several shifts available from Monday to Saturday between 7am-7pm, to accommodate for differing availabilities.
* Please note this role is not desk bound; all of your time will be spent moving/on your feet.
Responsibilities:
* Assisting with managing the loading dock for all goods in & out, communicating with couriers & drivers during pick-ups & drop-offs.
* Receiving incoming stock at the loading dock & moving boxes into goods in - this includes boxes weighing up to 20kgs+.
* Unloading pallets from trucks & using a walk-behind forklift.
* Accurately checking POs, counting & unpacking inventory in high volumes.
* Ensuring all goods in are assigned & put away in a location within the warehouse & accurately assigning SKUs within the system.
* Replenishing stock into picking locations.
* Assisting the Warehouse Manager with ensuring all stock within the warehouse is accurate using the Peoplevox system.
* Assisting the Warehouse Manager with stock takes.
* Using Excel to enter stock & communicate with buyers + QC.
* Assisting the Dispatch Team with outgoing parcels once they reach the loading dock to ensure they leave with the correct couriers.
* Communicating with buyers & determining slow-moving SKUs.
Requirements:
* Full working rights within Australia.
* Can work a minimum of 3 days per week; availability beyond this is welcomed.
* Ability to work on your feet all day.
* Eager to work in a high-paced environment.
* High level of accuracy & attention to detail.
* Ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
* Must be fluent in reading & writing English.
* Energetic & self-motivated.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Adhering to safe manual handling procedures, lifting loads of up to 20kg.
* Rosebery location, walking distance from Green Square train station.
