We're working with a leading organisation that is putting data at the heart of its strategy and looking to bring on a Data Governance / Data Risk Consultant.
This role is ideal for someone with a consulting or Big Four background who thrives at the intersection of business and data, and is excited about shaping governance frameworks that support AI-driven initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with senior stakeholders to define and deliver enterprise-wide data governance and data risk frameworks.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, data quality, and risk management, ensuring governance practices scale effectively for AI data.
- Translate complex governance concepts into clear, actionable strategies for business leaders.
- Work as part of a close-knit, high-performing team of SMEs, contributing expertise while enjoying a supportive culture and strong work-life balance.
- Gain high visibility with the senior leadership team, influencing decisions at a strategic level.
What we're looking for:
- Experience in data governance, data risk, or data management consulting, ideally with a Big Four or top-tier consulting background.
- Strong business-facing skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, frameworks, and the role of governance in enabling trusted AI.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in an environment that values data as a strategic asset.
- Must be Sydney-based with full working rights in Australia.
