The school is incredibly well equipped with a brand new purpose built therapy space. The therapy team support students through a range of allied health functions; including speech pathology, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. Staff and students are encouraged to use the many and varied pieces of equipment that support the learning and health goals of the students within their care. The school offers comprehensive individual learning for students at all stages of learning from ages 5 to 18 years of age. Most importantly you will be joining a supportive and passionate transdisciplinary team that values its team members and students alike. The role: This incredibly rewarding and fulfilling role requires that you work with the school community to reach the goals of its students and families. You will be working in small class sizes with children with mild to severe disabilities of all kinds. Your training and experience will be highly valued. You will combine your knowledge with that of other allied health professionals to work as a team to reach joint goals. This is an on site position, where you will work in the classroom and therapy spaces. This position will be suited to Occupational Therapists with experience working with young people, strong communicators, and those with an eagerness to learn on the go.
