About the Role
To plan, develop, deliver and assess quality vocational education and training in a range of learning environments within assigned programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Teaching: Develop, maintain and evaluate student learning programs, projects and associated materials.
* Assessment: Conduct pre-training assessment reviews and assessment requirements connected to contract delivery for the program/s.
* Industry Engagement: Participate in marketing and promotion of courses by liaising with industry contacts, networks and learning communities.
* Quality and Compliance: Assist in development and maintenance of quality assurance processes related to program and course administration, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation of training materials.
* Vocational and Industry Currency: Identify, create and participate in professional development relevant to teaching and maintenance of vocational currency.
Requirements
* A certificate relevant in content and academic level to the teaching duties to be performed.
* Industry experience relevant to the content area and academic level being taught.
* Well-developed teaching skills, including ability to select and use teaching and assessment strategies as determined by student needs and competency standards.
* A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE41016) or its equivalent.
* Sound knowledge of the relevant industry area.
* Capacity to plan, schedule and meet agreed deadlines in completion of teaching duties.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Anti Discrimination, Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
* A current Working With Children Check.
* Provide evidence substantiating entitlement to work in Australia.
