About Our Role
Reporting to the Talent Manager, you'll partner closely with leaders across our Australian operations, managing a diverse portfolio of vacancies across multiple sites. This role offers the opportunity to build strong, trusted relationships with operational stakeholders, providing recruitment expertise and delivering talent solutions that directly support the success of our sites and broader business.
What will your day‐to‐day look like?
* Manage end‐to‐end recruitment processes across a diverse portfolio of blue‐collar, operational roles
* Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective sourcing and attraction strategies
* Proactively source and engage high‐quality candidates through multiple channels, building strong talent pipelines for current and future requirements
* Deliver a positive candidate experience through timely communication, stakeholder engagement and effective process management
* Provide market intelligence, talent insights and recruitment recommendations to support informed hiring decisions
* Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting, monitoring key performance metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement
* Promote Barminco's employer brand through candidate engagement, networking activities and talent attraction initiatives
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects that enhance recruitment processes, systems and candidate experience
Our ideal candidate background includes
* Demonstrated experience in end‐to‐end recruitment, talent acquisition or workforce planning within a blue‐collar, ideally underground environment
* Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
* Experience sourcing and attracting talent across competitive labour markets
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‐focused approach to recruitment
* Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
* Ability to analyse recruitment data and provide insights to support workforce decisions
* Experience within mining, resources, engineering, construction or other project‐based industries will be highly regarded
