Mergent Group is supporting a leading communications technology integrator to find a Site Supervisor to join our team to assist in a major long term expansion project at Olympic Dam.
Key responsibilities of the role:
* Supervise and lead field teams across data and communications projects and integration works.
* Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers on project scheduling, delivery, equipment needs, and infrastructure readiness.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients' supervisors and project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
* Conduct site safety inspections, pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
* Review and prepare work packs, drawings, and checklists for site builds.
* Monitor project progress and quality, providing technical guidance and coaching to teams.
* Participate in site meetings, audits, capital installs, and administrative tasks as needed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in construction and integration of data and communications projects.
* Working knowledge of BHP requirements
* Previous experience working to a supervisor level
* Certificate III in Telecommunication Technology
* Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
* Sound technical understanding and ability to guide a multi-trade project team effectively.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
* A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.

* Construction Industry White Card
* Drivers Licence
* Security Licence
* First Aid/CPR Certificate
* Working at Heights
* Elevated Work Platform
* ACMA Open Registration with Endorsement (Structured cabling, Optical Fibre, Coaxial, Broadband and Testing)
