Overview
Harvey Norman, Australia's largest retailer of lifestyle products, is seeking an IT Auditor to support the delivery of independent, objective assurance and consulting services to the Board and senior management.
This on-site role is based at the Corporate Homebush West Office and focuses on IT governance, risk management, and controls.
Responsibilities
Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and compliance systems related to IT across the global business.
Assist with the ongoing operation of the global IT attestation control framework.
Support evidence collection and related activities to ensure a successful annual IT external audit.
Assist with global access control initiatives for key SAP and Microsoft Business Central ERP environments.
Collaborate with the Data Analytics Manager to gather and analyse data across departments and develop new tests within the data analytics platform (ACL).
Complete all assigned IT audits in line with scope and objectives, covering areas including Cyber Security, Data Governance, IT Project Reviews.
Build and maintain relationships with IT stakeholders to maximise effectiveness, identify synergies and resolve audit issues.
Assist with data analysis for investigation-based audits where practical.
Deliver accurate, comprehensive, and timely reports on internal audit findings to relevant managers and executives.
Attend to other reasonable duties as directed by the CIA, including assistance with global governance and Line 3 activities.
About you
You will bring experience in IT-related internal and external audits, supported by a relevant qualification in IT or a business field.
You are able to evaluate recommendations with an understanding of business processes and the operating environment.
Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; proficient in business report writing.
Project management skills with the ability to scope tasks and projects, set clear objectives and goals.
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to anticipate challenges, adapt quickly, and deliver effective solutions.
Strong teamwork abilities and ethical judgement.
