In this role you will focus on developing relationships, enhancing experiences for a portfolio of Public Sector clients in order to generate revenue, developing new business, and retaining and growing the current book of business. You will also be responsible for meeting compliance requirements, providing administrativeand technical support to both internal and external stakeholders, and collaborating with our offshore processing centre.

We will count on you to:
5. Provide Account Management support with a proactive approach to all aspects of service delivery to clients, ensuring needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standards
6. Develop growth in existing portfolio with new products or broader policy and identify new business opportunities
7. Act as a trusted advisor to Councils on all their protection and risk management enquiries
8. Assist other team members to ensure service delivery to clients
9. Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers, underwriters and other professional services organisations
10. Handle claims advocacy and have oversight of equitable claim settlements on behalf of clients
11. Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools
12. There may be some travel involved in the role, predominantly across Victoria and Tasmania.
What you need to have:
13. 3-5 years’ experience as an insurance broker. Public Sector and/or Affinity servicing experience advantageous
14. Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking)
15. QPIB status with NIBA or CIP equivalent status through ANZIIF
16. Strong knowledge and application of insurance broking principles, insurance products and services
17. Sound knowledge of sales and marketing principles and their application with the insurance market
18. Strong business writing skills
19. Ability to manage and analyse large data sets
20. Risk management knowledge/experience
21. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
22. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
23. Developed negotiation skills
