As a Parts Store Person, you will :
* Efficiently receive and dispatch goods.
* Proactively maintain housekeeping standards in the parts store.
* Assist with collating orders for internal service staff.
* Conduct timely and accurate processing of paperwork including invoices, purchase orders, transfers, etc.
* Collaborate with service technicians regarding their request for parts & accessories.
* Assist in rolling stock takes.
* Promote a safety-first approach.
* Monitor and engage couriers for dispatch and collection of goods.
To be successful in this role, you will have most of the following skills and experience :
* Exposure to Automotive or Heavy Vehicle aftermarket parts.
* Hands-on experience in stock control.
* A motor trade or engineering background would be highly regarded.
* Experience working within procedural guidelines.
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to converse on all levels.
* Excellent communication skills and phone manner.
* Forklift License or the will to obtain.
* Strong organisational skills and problem-solving ability.
* Ability to meet deadlines and forward planning skills.
* Competent computer skills, including experience with MS Office Suite (SAP experience would be advantageous).
* Current and valid driver’s license.
* Able to pass a Police check.
* Able to pass a pre-employment medical check.
* A positive attitude and proactive mindset, with the ability to work autonomously as well as being a good team player.
Pre-employment police and medical checks are mandatory for this position.
