Melbore construction & excavation is a family based civil gas construction company operating out of pascoe vale and servicing the northern and western suburbs of Melbourne.
We are currently looking for a Crew Member to assist in services and mains laying Experience in Gas Services, Mains Laying and/or Maintenance preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities include commercial and domestic gas main and service laying. It can be a labour intensive position and does involve manual digging therefore a high level of physical fitness is required.
Tasks include creating a safe worksite, locating underground assets, reading DBYD plans, digging/proving laying services and problem solving.
We are looking for someone with the below attributes: safety conscious solid work ethic positive, "can do" attitude punctual and reliable enthusiastic sense of urgency shows initiative and attention to detail team player strong communication skills
The role also requires the below qualifications. It is preferable that applicants have some of these and are current but no problem if you don't have any.
Gas Supply Industry Operations Cert 2
Fire Training Traffic Management Confined Space Manual Handling Asbestos Awareness Spotters (Excavator) Excavator license First Aid/CPR White card.
**Salary**: $26.00 - $42.00 per hour
