We are seeking a skilled geologist to join our team in Sydney to deliver project scope.
The successful candidate will contribute to our technical services for infrastructure, tunnelling and mining projects from our office in Pyrmont.
* Provide geological and engineering advice on rock mass classification.
* Issue site mapping documentation & recommendations.
* Partake in Permit to Excavate/Tunnel and trenching process.
* Coordinate with Engineers and Supervisors on design drawings, temporary works and project status.
* Forecast geological & engineering conditions.
* Undertake rock stability analysis of rock cuts, slopes and underground excavations.
* Develop and improve internal auditing systems & processes.
* Slope stability assessments, underground mapping and design review.
* Compile monthly reporting of geological mapping of excavation of tunnels, shafts and caverns.
