Overview: CPA are seeking a highly experienced & resilient Disability Support professional to join the high-performing team at one of our key SIL houses in Wyong. This is an in-home based support role where you'll directly engage with clients and help build independence through working towards individual goals. You will support clients with behaviours of concern and complex disabilities. Candidates should have proven experience in the industry and have worked with challenging behaviours. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, with up to 32 hours per week on offer.
Your Duties
* Delivering personalised support by assisting clients with personal care, administering medication, and manual handling.
* Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent.
* Building positive relationships with clients.
* Transporting clients in your own car.
Requirements
* Professional Behaviour/Disability Support experience
* Experience working with behaviours of concern and high-need clients
* Embodies CPA values, client-focused in approach to care, and driven to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities
* Availability across a variety of shift times, including:
* Early mornings (6am - 9am)
* Day shifts (9am - 3/4pm)
* Afternoons & evenings (12pm onwards)
* Awake overnights (10pm-6am)
* A current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 minimum)
