About the role
As a Labourer - Restumping specialist at Raise My House, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's mission of helping homeowners in the Brisbane area relevel, repair and restump their homes. This role is demanding but offers higher remuneration in return. This role attracts individuals who take pride in hard work and physical strength. This full-time position will have you working on-site across various residential projects, assisting our experienced tradesmen and contributing to the success of our thriving business.
What you'll be doing
* Providing general labouring support to our experienced tradesmen, including lifting, moving and securing materials on-site
* Preparing and maintaining the work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
* Assisting with the installation of new stumps, piers and other structural components as required
* Carrying out basic demolition work as needed to facilitate the restumping process
* Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
* Adhering to all health and safety regulations and procedures
* Collaborating with the wider team to deliver high-quality outcomes for our customers
What we're looking for
* A strong work ethic, with the ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
* Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
* Moderate fitness level required to perform physical labouring tasks effectively
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
* A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
