**The role**:
Reporting to Manager, Organisational Change and Training, the Principal Business Change Officer will develop business change strategies, and lead and implement sustainable transformational change, to effectively realise the benefits of large scale, ICT initiatives and BAU activities.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for providing strategic change management advice in relation to assessment, analysis, documentation, and implementation of approved change management methodologies, including the evaluation and management of risks and issues. You will also lead and manage the creation of change management strategies, plans and action plans to ensure all change management activities are identified, scheduled, and managed across the lifecycle of each business implementation.

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:
- Proven success and high-level experience in transformational change management and leadership relating to business change projects including enabling of benefits realisation, stakeholder engagement, and communications and training within a large complex organisation-wide project environment.
- Proven experience in the development, documentation, implementation and evaluation of change management strategies, tools and artefacts in a large-scale complex clinical/scientific project environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships in clinical and business areas, and cross team collaboration to support effective business change and transition including the ability to influence key stakeholders in an environment of change.
- High level communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide advice, consultation and collaboration with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders on complex clinical, business and strategic issues.
- Demonstrated capability in change planning, analysis, resistance management, conceptualisation and problem solving, and management of multiple deliverables within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities.
- Experience in clinical solution implementations and understanding of Pathology Queensland laboratory workflows would be highly regarded.
