Overview
We are seeking a full-time Baker to join our team in Greenfields, WA. This is a hands-on, salaried role with an afternoon shift, working 38 hours per week across 5 days (including weekends and public holidays as required).
Responsibilities
* Assist with producing a large range of gourmet baked foods daily.
* Stock control and ordering.
* Quality control.
* Production planning.
* Maintain cleanliness and OH&S standards.
* Work hands-on at the bench mixing, cutting, kneading and moulding alongside the Baking Team (approximately 95% of time).
This is a full-time salaried role averaging 38 hours/week across 5 out of 7 days. The shift starts in the afternoon (2pm) and runs through to the evening. The role will include working weekends and public holidays when required. Any additional hours worked above salary will be accrued and paid out on a 6-monthly basis.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Flexible hours available.
* 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role.
* Expected salary: $77,000 - $80,000 per year.
* Trade qualification and experience as a Baker is preferred.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Baker.
* Experience in scratch baking from start to finish (mixing dough, hand moulding and oven work).
* Willingness to learn and excel in your profession.
* Ability to operate in a busy production environment.
* Sound knowledge of food safety principles.
