TP Human Capital is currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a major underground mining project overseas. This high-profile role involves supervising mechanical construction and maintenance in a process plant and underground environment, providing an excellent opportunity for qualified supervisors with underground mining experience seeking an international assignment. These roles will work back-to-back, providing continuous coverage on an active construction program, supporting multiple contracting partners across civil, mechanical, and electrical scopes.
About the Opportunity
* Roster : 20 days on, 10 days off, plus 4 travel days (2 each side of the swing)
* 8 hours paid per travel day
* Working 12hr shifts per day
* Flights provided from Australia
* Private accommodation with ensuite and full camp facilities (dry camp, gym, laundry)
* 12-month contract through TP Human Capital
* Visa arrangements managed by the client
* Project already underway – immediate start available
Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Construction Superintendent, you will :
* Lead and supervise mechanical teams onsite
* Coordinate multiple contracting partners to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements
* Oversee installation, maintenance, and commissioning of underground and process plant mechanical systems
* Support project delivery while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
* Initial project priorities include :
Secondary ventilation works
* Borefield and pit dewatering pump installations
* Preparation for a new underground pumping station
What We're Looking For
* Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Trade (Certificate III or equivalent) – mandatory
* Project Management qualification (Diploma, PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) – mandatory
* Proven experience supervising mechanical construction in mining, resources, or industrial projects
* Underground mining experience – mandatory
* Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills
* Commitment to safety and compliance
* Ability to work internationally (Philippines-based rotation)
* Current Australian passport
* Ability to meet pre-employment medical and background checks

* Experience in process plant mechanical construction
* Ability to drive productivity and maintain momentum on complex mechanical scopes
