We are seeking a skilled Senior Home Care Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and household tasks.
About the Role
The Senior Home Care Worker will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, developing personalized care plans that promote independence and well-being.
* Provide individualized support to clients with daily living activities, such as showering, dressing, and toileting.
* Assist with medication administration and ensure accurate documentation.
* Participate in household tasks, including light cleaning, meal preparation, and shopping.
* Support clients with transport to appointments and community activities.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a direct care setting.
* Holding a Certificate III in Individual Support or higher qualification.
* Certification in Assist Clients with Medication (HLTHPS006), Recognise Healthy Body Systems (HLTAAP001), and Provide Individualised Support (CHCCCS031).
* A current First Aid and CPR certification.
* A valid Australian driver's license and reliable vehicle.
* Valid Australian Work Rights.
