We are looking for a Lease Contract Specialist
Based at our Sydney Head Office with office and home working, this role is perfect for an experienced paralegal or lease administration specialist who thrives in a high volume, high quality documentation environment and enjoys partnering closely with stakeholders across a complex property portfolio.
What You Will Do
Provide expert advice and transaction management support for leasing documentation across our Town Centre portfolio.
Prepare, negotiate and finalise high volume leasing documents to a high standard, ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with Stockland's risk framework.
Partner with internal stakeholders to explain documentation requirements, risks and impacts, ensuring timely and customer focused delivery.
Liaise with external legal partners, monitor performance measures and provide constructive feedback to support agreed service levels.
Ensure all documentation complies with relevant legislation and protects Stockland's commercial position.
Support a culture of improvement by sharing knowledge, identifying enhancements, and contributing to team capability.
Build strong internal and external relationships to support a coordinated end to end leasing model.

Experience and Skills That Count
Previous paralegal experience specialising in leasing or extensive in house commercial lease administration experience in a high volume environment.
Strong understanding of leases and contracts, ideally within the property or legal industry.
Experience with commercial and retail leasing, with landlord side experience highly regarded.
Working knowledge of retail leasing legislation across Australian jurisdictions.
Ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage matters proactively.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Interest in process improvement, systems and ways of working.
