Position: Disability Support Worker Location: Mt. Barker Employment Type: Permanent Part Time The Opportunity: Come and join our team!
We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker located in Mt. Barker Parking on site Each day may look a little different but your work will be centered around the following: Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
Providing support with hygiene and personal care Complex care support - Hoist, Bowel care, catheter management ( Supra pubic catheter), Enema, Medication and Manual handling Providing support with Hydrotherapy session along with the client (waist down in water)
Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
What shifts are we offering? 40 hrs. per fortnight - PPT shifts
To be successful in this role you will have: Drivers License, reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insurance At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker NDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain What we Offer
