What we are looking for
This is a role well suited to a technical product specialist who is equally comfortable working in a global supply chain with international partners as well as presenting to key external retailers. You're well versed in technical product acumen, yet equally comfortable adding value from a commercial lens. You've likely worked in a hardware or industrial product offering before, and are capable of coming in and shaping strategy around core existing offerings, while identifying future growth‐areas and pipelining accordingly. Remit for the role will include:
* Ownership of the product strategy and portfolio management plan across a wide category breadth and both owned and private label product
* Custodianship of the end to end product development process, partnering with local and global stakeholders across ideation through to commercialisation in line with market viability and the local regulatory landscape
* Collaborating with a mix of technical and commercial functions inside Sitro, working hand in glove with design, marketing, operations and purchasing/procurement functions in line with business‐level strategy.
* Cultivating supplier relationships across your category breadth and act in partnership to ensure product objectives around function, quality and reliability are met.
* Actively investing in market insights and category analysis, understanding where opportunity to expand existing offering or branching into aligned, new offerings.
