Lead integrated planning and supply chain operations for Sydney Trains' rollingstock fleet – optimizing maintenance delivery, resource allocation, and operational performance.
In this role, you'll
Lead integrated operational planning, coordination, and management of rollingstock resources, maintenance schedules, and supply chain operations ensuring fleet availability, reliability, and performance.
Translate long-term fleet and asset requirements into operational capacity, budgets, and schedules while directing effective allocation of parts, materials, and resources for planned and condition-based maintenance delivery.
Develop and oversee comprehensive strategic and operational rollingstock planning, scheduling, and budgeting optimizing asset and resource utilization.
Develop, implement, and manage warehousing, logistics, and supply chain strategy for Sydney Trains' Rolling Stock Branch ensuring safe, reliable, cost-effective fleet support.
Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, and inventory management ensuring timely, reliable access to parts and materials
Lead input to Asset Management and Annual Works Programs aligning maintenance with enterprise planning. Build effective relationships with suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders securing operational resilience and performance improvements

About You
Strategic Planning Expertise – Significant experience in strategic forward planning and resource management in heavy infrastructure operations
Supply Chain Leadership – Proven track record managing complex supply chains in dynamic operational environments
Operational Excellence – Demonstrated success optimizing maintenance delivery, scheduling, and resource allocation
Stakeholder Navigation – Strong engagement skills navigating complex scenarios with competing stakeholder priorities
Data-Driven Decision Making – Capability using analytics, forecasts, and insights to drive performance
Commercial Acumen – Experience managing budgets, procurement, and cost-effective operations
Team Leadership – Track record leading and empowering teams to deliver business outcomes
Relevant Qualifications – Tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience
Optimize fleet performance through integrated planning and supply chain excellence.
