Job Description
A rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Purchasing Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for procuring goods and services, managing inventory, and negotiating with suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment, excellent written and spoken English skills, and intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.

Key responsibilities include:
* Costing and purchasing of ships' parts, services, and other needs;
* Ensuring goods are delivered on time and within delivery schedules;
* Negotiation with suppliers;
* Identification of new suppliers and development of relationships with them;
* Inventory control and stock take;
* Managing and processing claims to/from suppliers including returning goods;
* Authorizing suppliers' invoices after goods receipt and invoicing matching;
* Monitoring and updating data in the company's purchasing system;
* Daily and weekly reporting.
