Job Opportunity
As a Residential Care worker, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment and support to young people. You will work alongside staff members to ensure the well-being of placements.
* Key responsibilities include travel assistance, administration tasks, crisis situations management and maintaining a clean home;
* Providing opportunities for growth and development through implementing programs;
* Building positive relationships with team members and placements;
You will also be required to transport individuals to school, day programs and appointments; participate in activities and meals; and follow established routines.
Requirements
* A valid Working with Children Check is mandatory for this role;
* A current First Aid Certificate is required;
* A National Police Check is necessary for employment purposes;
* An International Police Check may be required if applicable;
* A valid driver's license is essential;
* The ability to participate in a Worker/Carer Exclusion Scheme Check;
* A Current NDIS Worker Check is required;
Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or a recognised relevant qualification is mandatory. We can facilitate obtaining the required units via partnered RTO BIAE.
