Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is recruiting for a **Global Practice Lead - Asset Performance Management** to join its Digital Advisory team focusing on the asset management, asset performance management (APM), and reliability / integrity management consultancy capability of the Digital Operations sub-business group within Digital Consulting at Wood.

- Bring industry recognised expertise, advisory credentials and standing to key projects and business relationships for the group
- Ensure that technical innovation and a client-focussed approach to problem solving are incorporated into outcomes delivered by Digital Advisory in general and the APM practice in particular
- Manage the APM global practice and APM advisory teams located in APAC, EMEA and the AMERICAS
- Contribute on asset performance management related areas for specific studies and projects to ensure that deliverables are in accordance with client requirements and company objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Hold accountabilities for client success and value on all Advisory engagements delivered by the APM practice
- Maintain and expand a portfolio of core client relationships that provides a sustainable pipeline of business opportunities
- Broaden the strategic base of the APM practice so as to contribute to the growth of the business
- Work with the Staffing Function and Digital Advisory leadership in each region to forecast, manage and develop APM practice resources in line with market opportunities and engagement demands, globally.

**Typical responsibilities**
- Lead the development and delivery of asset management, asset performance management, and reliability and/or integrity engineering outcomes and advisory that address client's needs within Digital Advisory and the wider Wood teams
- Provide technical leadership, advisory and technical consultancy in the areas of strategic asset management and asset performance management systems / tools (e.g. GE Digital APM, AVEVA APM, SAP iAPM), within Digital Consulting and the wider Wood business
- Manage a portfolio of core client relationships so as to provide a sustainable pipeline of business opportunities
- Identify and convert potential project and services opportunities so as to widen the portfolio of long-term business relationships
- Oversee and contribute to the preparation of proposals and presentations at relevant industry forums
- Provide technical and commercial direction to advisors / consultants, overview of project schedules and budgets and perform detailed review of critical aspects of project
- Assist with professional development of advisors and consultants
- Motivate and obtain commitment of Digital Advisory personnel to project QA/QC requirements i.e. comply with Wood procedures and provide a fit for purpose outcome, on time and within budget.
- Peer Review / DTA / SME on projects
- High degree of client contact with responsibility for specific clients
- Acts as a role model and mentor for advisors and consultants
Skills / Qualifications:
**Expected**:
- Degree qualified engineer or equivalent
- 20+ years of overall experience with at least 5 years specifically in the Asset Performance Management area
- Recognised specialist engineering, technical consulting and advisory knowledge, expertise, credentials and standing in strategic Asset Management, Reliability and/or Integrity Engineering, Operations Readiness and Assurance, Asset (Performance) Management systems and business processes
- Extensive engineering, consulting and advisory experience in asset intensive industries
