Finance officer with treasury or foreign exchange experience needed in Western Sydney
Your new company is a well-known organisation in Australia looking to employ a Finance officer on a permanent basis.
Your new role will include but will not be limited to:
* Managing a portfolio of international/foreign currency suppliers
* Managing supplier set up applications in line with Delegation of Authority, including completion of application forms and confirmation of banking details.
* Reviewing purchase order receipting, processing invoices, obtaining approvals, and ensuring processing is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
* Completion of weekly and monthly payment runs.
* Raising hedge contract requests when required.
* Organising payment of FX invoices against hedged contracts.
* Reconciliation of major supplier statements.
* Ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors or problems.
* Ensure all monthly processing is completed within the agreed timeframe.
* Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies.
* Reconciliation.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in a hands-on Finance role would be necessary. Previous exposure to foreign exchange would be highly regarded. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese would be ideal but is not a must.
