Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for psychologists, with flexible evening and weekend hours. The position is based in Rose Park, SA. The psychologist will be responsible for providing counseling and therapy to clients and supporting clients with their mental health needs. Responsibilities will also include collaborating with other professionals as required, maintaining accurate records, and engaging in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
* Strong background in Psychology and Mental Health
* Skills in Counseling and therapy
* Knowledge of and experience in psychology as it relates to mental health care
* Commitment to confidential, ethical, and person-centered care
* Relevant registration and accreditation with professional governing bodies
* Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse client populations
* Flexible availability for evening and weekend hours
* Experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable
Generally, the casual rate for a clinical psychologist is $180 per billed hour (inc. tax and superannuation)
The casual rate for a registered psychologist is $156 per billed hour (inc. tax and superannuation) For private clients, registered psychologists also receive $180 per billed hour (inc. tax and superannuation)
For weekend work there is a $12 out of hours bonus.
