Job Opportunity: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Classification : Manager Salary package : Competitive + Superannuation Term: Continuing, Full-Time Initiate, plan, manage and execute designs and projects. Work within a team of multidiscipline building services engineers and closely with a broad range of in-house services such as project management, procurement, sustainability, maintenance and commercial. The technical team sits within Infrastructure and Planning and provides in house engineering services to a broad range of internal stakeholders. These services include feasibility, analysis, planning, design, procurement, design management, project management and tuning.
Main Responsibilities
* Perform analysis, design, reporting and supervision relating to mechanical engineering;
* Enable delivery of outcomes and objectives that meet Divisional objectives and University requirements;
* Focus on HVAC systems and controls as well as energy efficiency;
Requirements
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required for this role. Experience working in a similar position is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential.
