About the role
AAG Mechanical Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a variety of heavy machinery and equipment.
What you'll be doing
- Inspecting, diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and related components on earthmoving equipment and mobile crushers
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance on a range of diesel-powered equipment
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues
- Completing detailed work orders and documentation
- Ensuring all work is performed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Providing excellent customer service to our clients
What we're looking for
- Formal qualifications in Diesel Mechanics or a related automotive trade
- Extensive experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the earthmoving industry
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A valid Driver's Licence
