Your new role
The Program Manager, Clinical Digital Transformation is a senior leadership role accountable for the overall performance, integration and outcomes of a complex, high‐profile statewide program delivering technology‐enabled healthcare transformation across Victoria's public health system.
Accountabilities
* Provide overall leadership and accountability for the program, ensuring delivery progress, risks, dependencies and outcomes are actively managed across all workstreams and partners.
* Establish and maintain effective ways of working across clinical, operational, technical and vendor teams, bringing together multiple interdependent streams into a single, well‐functioning program.
* Lead change, adoption and service readiness activities in conjunction with delivery teams, ensuring technology implementation is supported by effective workforce engagement, readiness and transition into business‐as‐usual operations.
* Engage with a broad range of senior stakeholders, including clinicians, health service executives, departmental leaders and delivery partners, to resolve competing priorities, drive alignment and support timely decision‐making.
What you'll need to succeed
* The role requires strong experience leading large‐scale digital and informatics‐enabled transformation in healthcare environments, with the ability to translate between clinical, operational, policy and technical domains.
* Minimum of 10 years ICT program and project management experience, preferably in application delivery projects.
* Demonstrated experience leading large-scale technology‐enabled healthcare transformation programs within health service environments.
* Proven ability to lead and integrate multidisciplinary teams across clinical, operational, policy and technical domains, including vendor and third‐party delivery partners.
* Ability to engage credibly with senior clinicians, health service executives, departmental leadership and technical specialists, and to translate between clinical, operational and technical perspectives to support sound decision‐making.
* Experience managing complex budgets, risks, issues and interdependencies across multi‐stream programs with statewide or system‐wide impact.
